How to be Saved and Know It!

It is a well known fact that within the heart of every human being there are two great longings. The first is a great desire to be loved, and the second to love in return. Sometimes the pressures of life bring such heartaches that many give up the hope of ever finding real love.

Often when searching for love, one looks in the wrong places! Some substitute lust for love, while others pursue material things or superficial relationships. Many are making a futile attempt to fill a void in their heart, a void only God can fill.

Dear friend, if this describes you, we have some good news to share!

Believe us when we tell you there is someone who loves you! The Bible says, "For God So Loved the World That He Gave His Only Begotten Son, That Whosoever Believeth in Him Should Not Perish, But Have Everlasting Life." (John 3:16) God gave His Son, Jesus, to die on the cross because of His love for YOU.

Would you like to personally know this mighty love? If so, we are bold to declare to you that you CAN know! Let us share with you how to discover the love for which your heart is seeking.

Admit You Are A Sinner

The Bible says, "There is None Righteous, No, Not One." (Romans 3:10) The Scripture also says, "For All Have Sinned and Come Short of the Glory of God." (Romans 3:23)

Sin separates us from God. It is an offense against God that carries a very serious penalty. According to Romans 6:23, "...The Wages of Sin is Death," eternal separation from God's love and mercy forever.

Give Up All Efforts to Save Yourself

If you could save yourself, Jesus' death on the cross would have been unnecessary.

My friend, even if you turn over a new leaf in your life, if you "get religion," that will not get you to heaven. The Bible says, it is "Not by Works of Righteousness Which We Have Done, But According to His (God's) Mercy He Saved Us." (Titus 3:5) Salvation is by God's grace, "Not by Works, Lest Any Man Should Boast." (Ephesians 2:8, 9)

Believe that Jesus Christ Paid for Your Sins

What you cannot do for yourself, Jesus Christ has done for you! The Bible says, "But God Commendeth His Love Toward Us, in that While We Were Yet Sinners, Chirst Died For Us." (Romans 5:8) He died on the cross for you and then rose from the dead to prove that His payment was acceptable to God. You must acknowledge and believe this truth. "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and Thou Shalt Be Saved!" (Acts 16:31)

Accept Jesus As Your Savior

Salvation is a gift that God wants to give you! "The Gift of God is Eternal Life Through Jesus Christ Our Lord." (Romans 6:23) When someone offers you a priceless gift, don't you think it is wise to accept it? This very moment, you can receive God's gift of Salvation by sincerely praying this simple prayer. Won't you right now, bow before God and pray?

Dear God, I know that I am a sinner. I know that you love me and want to save me. Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God, who died on the cross to pay for my sins. I believe God raised you from the dead. I now turn from my sin and, by faith, receive you as my personal Savior. Come into my heart, forgive my sins, and save me, Lord Jesus. In Your name I pray, Amen.

Friend, if you sincerely prayed this prayer, God saved you! The Bible says, "Whosoever Shall Call Upon the Name of the Lord, Shall Be Saved! (Romans 10:13)
